Center for Digestive Disorders

The Center for Digestive Disorders at the University of Miami Hospital and Clinics is a multidisciplinary site where patients can be evaluated for a wide variety of gastrointestinal disorders. The center is one of the first to incorporate a team approach to GI diseases, where gastroenterologists and colon and rectal surgeons share clinic and endoscopic space. Patients with a wide variety of colorectal disorders are evaluated and treated much more efficiently through the central incorporation of clinical and procedural areas.

The Center for Digestive Disorders is located on the first floor of the University of Miami Hospital and Clinics at 1475 Northwest 12th Avenue, Miami.

University of Miami/Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center Site Disease Group for Colorectal Cancer

The University of Miami/Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center Site Disease Group for Colorectal Cancer is a multi-disciplinary group of physicians with a special interest in colorectal cancer. This group of specialists from many areas of medicine meets monthly to discuss patient cases and treatments. Patients receive the benefit of many doctors – including surgeons, gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiation therapists, pathologists, and radiologists – working together and combining their expertise to coordinate the most effective care and treatment possible. Additionally, physicians have an opportunity to share the latest research they are conducting with their collegues, which also benefits the patient.
