Research

Research allows scientists to develop new procedures to help millions of patients. The division has access to state-of-the-art equipment in its laboratories, operating rooms, intensive care units and wards. On-going research includes transplantation, valvular surgery, coronary surgery, genetic engineering, and more. Excellent funding exists for these functions, including grants from the National Institutes of Health.
