In an attempt to meet the needs of donor families and bring full circle the humanitarian concept of organ donation and transplantation, Life Alliance Organ Recovery Agency has accepted the challenging responsibility of providing a supportive and educational follow-up system for bereaved family members or organ/tissue donors. This system is known as LAORA’s Donor Family Aftercare Program.
