Alberto R. Iglesias, M.D.

Dr. Iglesias completed his surgery training at George Washington University in Washington D.C. During his training he was exposed to a large volume of open and laparoscopic bariatric cases including the preoperative and postoperative care of bariatric surgery patients. He later went on to complete an advanced laparoscopic fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital. There he was trained in advanced laparoscopic and robotic cases including bariatric surgery. Dr. Iglesias is able to perform all types of minimally invasive and endoscopic procedures.
